Zhena

For Fun

NikkiJim and Nancy have had a life-long love of Siberian Huskies, and have more pictures of them than there is web space to show. Their last 4 have been rescue projects, wonderful dogs abandoned by their previous owners who didn't have the time for them. On the right is Nikki, who passed away in early May of 2005, at the old age of 15 1/2 for a 75-lb husky, and on the left is the rather exuberant Zhena, who passed away at an amazing 17 yrs 8 months in August of 2010, still demanding her daily 1 to 3 miles of exercise right up to her last week of life.

K9YKL While Nancy toys with design ideas in wood and glass, Jim plays on the air as an Amateur Radio operator, a hobby he has been doing since age 12. He got into satellite communications very early, and enjoys chatting on the air with people who live in the many corners of the planet he has visited in his coaching travels.
